Hi there, my name is Desiree (Des) and I'm so happy you're here!  I don't work for one of the big "dot coms" and I don't work for a resort or destination...I work for you.  My job is to plan amazing trips so you can enjoy your time away without the stress of planning.  

Vacations by Des is all about the experience; your memorable vacation experience and my nearly 20 years of experience in the travel and event planning industry!  

My professional journey began in the event planning industry and seamlessly rolled into travel planning.  I have also worked with non-profit organizations focused on golf events and corporate/group travel. My academic background is routed in the industry, holding a degree in Travel and Tourism from Florida Atlantic University. I possess my IATAN credentials, underscoring my professionalism in the field.
